When do you meet?

Gatherings start at 10:37am at Hamilton Auditorium in the Kruse-Main Building at Ellsworth College, 1100 College Avenue, Iowa Falls, IA.  We're starting at 10:37 so you can feel free to be a little late!  But you'll want to come a little early and stay a little after to gather at "The Well" for complimentary gourmet coffees & sweets.

What about kids?

The River's Edge is unlike any church you've probably been to before!  We keep things happening, so we're appealing to people as young as 4th grade!  But younger ones will love visiting “Riverbank!”, a “safe place just beside The River’s Edge” designed specially for your K-3rd graders.  And 1-3 year olds are our "Tadpoles" - a special story time for them during the sermon.  They’ll beg to come back week after week!

What are Sunday mornings like?

Here’s what we’ve heard people say about their past worship experiences:
-      Services are boring, especially the sermons!  The messages don’t mean anything to me.
-      The church doesn’t care about me; they just want my money.
-      There’s nothing for my kids there.
-      Church people are stuffy and unfriendly.
We’re listening – so we’re blowing those things out of the water!  We want to prove that church can be cool.  That worship can be awe inspiring!  That messages can be helpful to the struggles you’re facing in your life today, instead of an opportunity for a nap.  Our music’s a bit louder than you’ll hear in most churches (feel free to bring earplugs if you'd like).  We often play clips from recent movies or popular music and then talk about what we saw.  You’ll definitely be invited to participate – clap, talk, laugh, or just sit back and listen.  And there’s no cost.  We'll never ask you for money!  Giving money back to God is an act of worship – but God’s interested in seeing your life change, not your pocket change.

Do you have a dress code?

We sure don't, Pedro.  Wear a tie if you’d like, but pajamas are equally welcome – whatever you’re most comfortable in.  five launch team girls:
