The Church Has Left the Building!

The River's Edge Outreach Team has ways to "reach out" to the community. 

Business Blast, Each month, we are "Adopting a Business" to pray for and bless with gifts!  One Sunday each month we will have a list of area businesses, all you need to do is pick one, and bless their socks off with prayer and deliver them a unique gift or "goodie basket".  $5.00 is provided for each volunteer to defray cost of gifts, so don't let that hold you up.  We just want to see businesses in the community receive appreciation and love all in the name of Jesus!

Prayer Ministry, Every Sunday morning before River's Edge, 10:00-10:30am in the Kruse Main Band Room.  Enter quietly and join in whenever you arrive.  Everyone is welcome!

Riverbank Kids, is in need of volunteers to work with nursery care in the lobby and 4-7 year old groups.  If interested, please let Pastor Carlton or his lovely wife, Jill, know!

What do you know about the need for a contemporary church in Iowa towns?  Pastor Carlton, as Director of Church Planting for the Iowa Baptist Conference, is always seeking information on communities in Iowa that have a need for a relevant, evangelical, modern church.  Just as the River's Edge has been drawing Iowa Falls area people back to church and into relationship with Jesus, we want to help do the same for other Iowa communities.  NOTE: Pastor Carlton will NOT be leaving to start this new church plant!  But we want to be a Mother Church who continually plants and supports new daughter churches.  River's Edge currently has 6 Mother churches supporting us!

Don't miss THIS SUNDAY!  Our 2nd Annual "Blessing of the Bikes" at Estes Park, corner of Estes and Main in Iowa Falls.  Ride your motorcycle (or segway, moped, tricycle, bike or unicycle) our for a free outdoor lunch and a keg of root beer for everyone at noon with a live band, followed by a service of blessing!  Each rider will be prayed for, asking God for a safe driving season!  We'll see you there, this Sunday!
 
Normally, we meet EVERY SUNDAY MORNING, 10:37 a.m. (so you can be a little late and not miss anything!) at Hamilton Auditorium in the Kruse-Main building on the Ellsworth College campus in Iowa Falls.  The River's Edge Band is hot - great music, great coffee, free food, and our guarantee that "you will not be bored!"
